This is the original demo for Happy that I sent to Nick and Spence before the session.
It’s only a verse and a chorus - we kept most of that, then Nick wrote an extra verse and chorus to fill it out. Finally, we added the middle section with gospel Hammond, an intentionally terrible guitar solo and Nick’s improvised megaphone rant.

This is the rough demo of Retire that I sent to Nick and Spence on Soundcloud. We ended up keeping the music but rewriting the lyrics to create Sorted.
